U. S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher

Washington, Nov 13 - Washington, DC-November 13, 2008- Today, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher issued the following statement in reaction to U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Cardone’s decision to leave the sentences of Border Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean unchanged: “Many patriotic Americans are dismayed by the continued persecution and legal torture of former Border Patrol officers Ramos and Compean. The legal establishment has obviously taken its directives from senior levels of the Bush Administration.

“All decent Americans are now calling on President Bush to show some mercy towards these unjustly convicted men who never should have been prosecuted in the first place.

“This case is an ongoing travesty of justice that needs to be set right and I call on President Bush to do the right thing and commute their sentences--El Paso Times

Dear Bonnie, The Ramos family, Ignacio, Monica, little Jacob, Ryan and Aaron want you to know how much we appreciate you coming on board to help fight this travesty. What you heard on the radio Saturday was the truth and nothing but the truth. This was a case of aggravated perjury by not only the witnesses who testified under immunity from prosecution but also under the threat of indictment by the prosecutors. The prosecutors also committed perjury but the real killer was when the government admitted at our Appeal in New Orleans that the illegal alien and admitted drug smuggler had also told some lies as a key witness for the government at the trial. This is the worse miscarriage of jusctice that I have ever seen. God bless you and your loved ones. Joe A…

This week, many of our nation's top conservative voices and
organizations are in our nation’s Capitol pressing their concerns
about illegal immigration, and demanding former U.S. Border
agents Nacho Ramos and Jose Compean are set free.

Following the crushing ruling from the Fifth Circuit earlier this
year, I believe right now is our best opportunity to free
Ramos and Compean...

But how you and I respond over the remainder of the President's
term in office may well determine if they are set free, or
continue to languish in solitary confinement.

Sheriff Joe Comments on Agent Ramos

Quick Throttle Magazine hopes you will come out and support this important event:On October 4th, 2008 RAIA Southwest will be sponsoring a benefit rally for wrongfully imprisoned border patrol agents Ramos and Compean.
In 2005, during a failed drug smuggling attempt these men were involved in a shooting resulting in the wounding of an admitted drug runner from Mexico. For doing their jobs, defending our border, and capturing a van loaded with over 700 pounds of marijuana, these agents were sent to federal prison for 11 and 12 years.
Join us in assisting their families.
Registration for the run is from 7 to 10am at Tosos Sports Bar & Grill, 2401 W. Union Hills Drive. Admission is free, but we are asking for donations to help the Ramos and Compean families. There will be breakfast provided at no charge.
The run will leave promptly at 10am. We will ride to the state capitol at 17th Ave and Jefferson for surprise guest speakers. Once the speakers have finished there will be a road march of…

The families of the imprisoned Border Patrol agents are in dire need of financial support. They have lost homes, incurred large medical bills due to lack of insurance, cashed out retirement accounts, and the children of the agents have endured taunting by unsympathetic neighbors, among other things. The legal fees alone are in the multiple thousands of dollars! By purchasing these bracelets, you are supporting the families of the agents and are also able to wear a fabulous conversation starter to get the word out to release these men and reunite these families! The bracelets are "border patrol" green in color with white lettering that reads "FREE RAMOS AND COMPEAN". Donations will be collected and after costs (about a dollar per bracelet if mailed) the proceeds will be split between the families. For a minimum donation of $5 (five) anyone can be the proud owner of one of these silicon rubber bracelets. Buy one, buy a dozen. They make great gifts! Please make che…
